The still of the night. Is a scary old place. People are walking. With pain on their face. Some are so drunk. They can not stand. Crawling around. Beer in their hand. Many of which.
Throat dry, hands numb, Sitting there, looking dumb. White face, snowflake tender. Peaky face, small and slender. Dirty windows, dusty floors, Sleeping out beside shop doors.
Cold December drags on. Little boy walking at night, singing his song. The only familiar voice to him, is his own. The cold, damp streets he calls his home. His heart is pure but very strong.
#xmasparody. BADWORDS. I'm dreading another shite Christmas. Just like the ones I've come to know. Where the shop doors glisten. And no one listens. To the homeless in the snow.
A world of peeling paint and mildew, Where things stop working like clapped out minds.

Softly, quietly, the baby slept. Softly, silently, the mother wept. Crystal diamonds in the sky, Airplanes flying way up high.
Underneath the railway bridge Early morning fog Sits a lonely homeless man And his faithful dog Stands up tall and stretches 'Rover' does the same Another hurtful round Of the begging/busking...
Cursing, Swearing... At an eviction letter. Hoping, Praying... For something better. Worrying, Fretting... Nowhere to live. Owing, Paying... No money To give. Loosing, Everything... Out on the street.
In a cut throat city on a winters day. A young boy I knew went and lost his way. Little Noah with the grin, his nickname. He'll pinch your wallet, he has no shame. He's a shady runt. Or so they say.
The darkness descended and settled upon the city, spreading like a disease. Lights flickered then went out as families bade each other goodnight.
Do you see the man with straggly hair. No money for food or change for fare. His nails are black and teeth are rotten, He knows more than you've forgotten.
He sits, an empty day ahead, Eyes so tired, a heavy heart. Some prayers, his thoughts within his head. Seems no one cares if this man were dead.
No way to live. Nor a way to die. Anything you give. Will seem like a lie. There is nowhere to flee. All they have are bags. No real cloths no money. They dress in the same old rags.
