Part 3 *•*•*•*• I quietly climbed out of the hammock, my heart racing. As I crawled over to the window and peered out, I felt the presence of the wolf standing next to me.
As I walked back through the forest, with the leaves crunching under the pressure of my boots, I knew my dad would want a good explanation as to why I was late. The noise of the stream distracted me.
After that, everyone was asleep. The girl was the last one to wake up and she didn't look well, she was red on her forehead and very pale on the rest of the face.
