I'd love to feel warmth from that but that sacrifice pales in comparison to what is allowed to happen in this world :(
@Burrfoot the thing is, Jesus suffered far mor than you can imagine. And he didn't even do a crime or sin in his LIFE! He had his back tore open bye a whip which many men didn't survive. He got a crown of thorns pushed into his skull and destroying his scalp. He then was nailed to a cross for hours and hours until he died. And by doing that he took away our sins so that if we believe in him with all our heart, then we shall live forever in paradise. To me there is no better or horrible sacrifice.
@eyes5ib I guess your right, but his suffering was common and unfortunately worse occurs in this world on a daily basis.
@Burrfoot I agree that it that there is too much suffering and it may have been a common thing (for the worst CRIMINALS) but because he did nothing wrong in his life it is worse. Also the fact that he took all our sons away and saved MILLIONS of people! It doesn't really matter how much he suffered. It more matters that he did and that he saved us!
@eyes5ib I agree, and admire your faith. It's because I had been trying to rekindle mine recently that I have been questioning everything.
