Explosions. Crashes. Smashes. And the buzz of electricity. They had all become power freaks. All but him and Charlie. They had been absorbing electricity wherever they could find it. They were addicted. They wanted more. Lightening bolts had flown across rooms and the building was being destroyed. All Matt could do was watch in horror. Watch as the building was torn to pieces. What has happened. We were supposed to stop terror, not cause it. "Hello? Hello?" came a voice over the radio. It was Charlie. "what's happening?" "Get out the building Charlie." Matt said, "but what ever you do don't get electrocuted." Matt thought back to his experience. The fence. The General. All he could remember was running. Then he had nowhere to go. Just a electric fence with a gate door in it. The door had been locked. He had tried to climb over. But was electrocuted. 10,000 volts running through him. He had done much the same as the ShadowKnights had. The disease feeds off of it. He was born with it. Reflexes, far greater than any man. Strength, skill. And the electricity caused it to excel. America. The only place where he could get 'treatment'. And then they Created the ShadowKnights with it. Big mistake!
He was suddenly made aware of red and blue flashing lights outside sirens. Then it got to him. His rage took over. He ran out smashing the doors open. Then charged at the General. He held a button. No! It can't be! He pressed it. The building erupted into flames and exploded. My parents! They are still in there! He ran but even faster now. He grabbed the general by the neck and lifted him up. The police all turned their guns towards him. "What happened with saving people?! What happened with the War On Terror?! What happened?!" Matt yelled in his face. Tears welled up in his eyes. "What happened?" he looked to the floor and dropped the struggling old man. He gasped for breath. "How could you do this?! All my family GONE because of you! Your power obsessed freak! I never should have trusted you." "Calm down boy..." "No! I will not calm down!" "Calm down." Matt just stared in response. "Get him." the general said. A rain of bullets fired in Matt leapt up dodging the bullets. He ran. Bouncing from the cars roofs to their neighbours. He ran. Ran like he had ran many times before. Ran into the darkness. He fell to the floor and fainted.
