"what?!" Sally exclaimed, "we can't be going out of the city!" "Well of course we have to! That's what you do on all expeditions isn't it?" Karl replied slightly confused. "No! We usually stay in the city's and dig under them." "Oh, well, it seems we are going out the dome." Sally sat down, calm yourself. Calm down. She told herself. "don't worry. This ship has its own dome." "so we won't be killed?" "no no no, this thing is like a flying city." She relaxed. It would be fine. Sally was now starting to get exited. She had wanted to see the countryside since she was a child but with all the poisonous gases only a limited number of people from the cities had. Of course the 'farmers' had but they were strange people. Sally looked over the edge of the large hovercraft she sat on. The city of London lay below them and above them was londonderry famous dome. The first fully glass dome ever to protect a city. And through the glass dome you could see stars. Stars which were different, unfamiliar. And yet the same. Kevin ran out and stood in front of Karl, Sally and Jamie. "this is amazing! The amount of technology that is in this ship is brilliant. You see this ship is like a conventional hovercraft, it uses magnets to sustain itself in the air, but because it is so big magnets can't keep it afloat by itself. This means that we are using fuel! Fuel! There is only six oil rigs in the world and we, as in us right now, are using the oil from one of them! Isn't that amazing?!" he asked but left no time for an answer as he kept getting faster and faster,"Soon we will exit through the air lock and the switch back to magnetism. And the we will..." "Okay! Okay! Kevin calm down. You look like your going to explode!" Jamie laughed A sudden gush of gas stopped them mid convocation. The gates were opening. They were entering the air lock and then the countryside.
