Sally gazed overboard watching the large glass tunnel bellow them. Small circular vehicles shooting past on tracks. Bugs. There had been panic after the fight and message everyone still was in shock. But they must carry on. As for Sally she rested from worrying by pondering about the vehicles bellow. It was hypnotising watching them fly past. She could, from up there, understand why they were called bugs. They looked much like beetles. Then it hit her. Guns! There where guns on the ship, gun with the men, guns, guns, guns! War was over. Why were both the US and Britain in such a rich supply of them? It worried her to think of it. And so she returned to the bugs. She noticed how they were beginning to split of into smaller tunnels then she looked up. Birmingham! They were here. Their destination, they had been told of, but didn't know why it was their destination. It was something to do with a scientist but she wasn't sure. The city was huge! It seemed far larger than London. Of course this is where it had all began. The domes had started here and do the city couldn't compact itself in time. And so they just made its metallic done massive. The dome was made of many metallic plates nailed to each other. It seemed far less beautiful than london and far more grotty. It had few glass panels on its roof but it was hard to tell the exacts of many of the thing when it was so dark. Then a large circular hole opened in its wall and light flooded out. They were entering the city.

"...And so we need you to find the light before any other country does...". Professor Bill Fensworth explained. "Excuse me sir, it's actually before Russia find it. Everyone else has signed a peace treaty." Kevin butted in. Talking to a professor made him feel like small kid in a sweet shop. "Why thank you Kevin." the professor replied. He had started to get adjusted by the over-keen twenty year old. "Hello doctor, I'm Jamie, would it be possible that you give us the possible locations now? As you know we are in a rush." "Oh, yes, the evidence. Follow me." the professor marched of into a darkened room and then fumbled around for the light switch. "you would think that I'd know where the light switch was by now wouldn't you." he laughed. They followed him into the room. "so, here is the evidence we have." he displayed a table covered in old tech and pieces of what seemed to be rubbish. The professor started to waffle on about how each piece had it's significance. Then Jamie's eyes were drawn to a scrappy old book. It lay on the edge of the table neglected and out of the light. "What's this?" he asked while picking up the tattered book. "Oh, that? That's a diary." he said trying to wave the question away. "Who's diary?" "Charlotte D'silva." "Who?" "Leonardo's wife." he said grabbing the book as Jamie tried to open the page. "Why are you do protective?" "Just be quiet will you!" he snapped leaving the room stunned and silent.
