The 'Gliding Lady' (flagship of the royal navy) was named after a a classical film from hundreds of years ago was remade in modern time's. It was a hit and the gliding lady was relived by many. It is powered mainly by magnetic frequencies. On board it has a magnetic stabiliser to prevent magnetic 'warbs' (word used to describe a wobble in the magnetic frequency). It measures the 'warbs' and repels them with an opposite magnetic charge. Although when above 2000ft it has to resort to oil or gas to power it. It travels at 300mph although it, during the times in the story, can only travel 180mph due to the problems of moving the planet across the galaxy. On board it has a highly advanced missile defence system because it was used in the last war known to planet earth. The 'flying lady' remains one of the most powerful ships in existence and is used by Sally and her crew in 'thelight' series.
