"The consequences of your actions are, and forever will be, fatal, leading to death by decapitation."

These depressing and somewhat annoying words rang through my head as I rotted away in my prison cell. I knew he said I would be dead in a day's time, and I knew, when committed, that my actions would lead to prison and death, but what was taking them so damned long? They'd had more than a day's time to get everything together and, yet, here I sat, waiting to be dragged off by some lonesome, bull of a prison guard.

"The fact that you're still thinking so hard sickens me,"

I look amusedly at the man sitting in chains across from me. "My friend, I'm afraid you were already sickened before I began thinking."

"Ah," he chuckles. "One can only go so far in search of prolonging their life before they run out of life to prolong."
