Yesterday, I lost my say
in the turns and twists of my way,
My thoughts lie scattered on my small tabletop,
And the seconds
keep passing without a pause on the clock.
My mind fumbled with words to describe
Its state as it was then, indeed.
Its choices were pure yet circumstances corrupt,
And justice was void, in deed.
Where we you? When I called and begged for you?
When I laughed at the pain with tears in my eyes
And cried myself to sleep imagining the highs.
When I stood undeterred screaming to the world that I have love,
Yet hoping for a smile to take me to my dreams inside...
Where were you?
Where were you when my world stopped turning?
You, you beautiful beautiful, you.
