She doesn’t see me
She talks to me
She laughs with me
She walks with me
But she doesn’t see me
Not like she used to
Back then she was my best friend
My other half
My twin
My sister
My vault
I could tell her anything
And she would never judge me
She told me all her inner thoughts
All of her ideas
We were inseparable
But we were also children
Unaware of the worlds demons
Of fights
Of falling apart
Of friends becoming enemies
Of sisters becoming silent and untrustworthy
Silence
For months we didn’t speak
The inseperable sisters became enemies
Never talking or caring
All over a simple miscommunication
It went on for so long that
We couldn’t remember why we were fighting
Then, baby steps
Small talk. Small walks.
Our friendship is mending
But only by a thread
She walks with me
She laughs with me
She talks to me
But she doesn’t see me
