At the beginning of December 2009, Jessy the West Highland Terrier was howling in the back of her breeder's car. She didn't know what that strange rumbling noise was, she just wanted to go back home to her mum. Soon the noise stopped, and Jessy was carefully loaded into a small plane. Except Jessy didn't know what a plane was and she was scratching and barking like mad. After some coaxing, the plane door shut and a rumbling noise even bigger than before started, and Jessy fell asleep.

When she woke up, she felt dizzy and was then indeed sick. The Pilot spoke gentle words to Jessy during the rest of the journey.

There was suddenly a big bump, and the massive rumbling noise stopped. Jessy pricked up her ears. She could hear footsteps and sure enough, the door opened and a man with some paper nappy pads scooped Jessy up and cuddled her close.

Jessy was soon in a red crate with a sheepskin rug for her to lie on in the car. Jessy looked out the window in wonderment at the green scenery.

The sky was going dark as the car strolled to a stop outside a tall house. This was a Private school for Girls, and while the man held Jessy close outside the school, Jessy sniffed little girls until a tall girl walked out in her winter uniform and gasped with delight at Jessy. This girl became a sister to Jessy, and Jessy became a sister to her.
