The knife fell down into the clock, piercing time and cutting out a minute of an hour in a day in a month in a year.
A man was saved from being shot. A criminal escaped from being caught. A baby missed being born. A woman got to work on time. A child had no coke left- yet he didn't drink it. A toddler was in a daycare, yet his mum hadn't dropped him off. A girl had knew something new - though she didn't learn it. An old man lived longer because he hadn't had a heart attack.
