Five was the son, the trusting one Eight was the best friend, who thought it would never end Three was the nosy one, he outstayed his cue to leave Ten and twelve were the cautious but inspiring parents.
Ten and twelve took five to a magical place when he was young
And on the twenty-fourth day of each month, five would go there and sit
One day five finally felt comfortable enough with eight to take him to his place
The two friends promised to keep it a secret
Eight couldn't keep secrets... And three was waiting
Three discovered the wondrous location
All hail damnation
Five could tell
And broken was the spell
Five and eight were never the same again.
