For my fellow consumers:
"what is one mans keen business practice is another mans unfair trading"
How do you stop a rogue trader without going to jail yourself? Well unlike most of you intelligent people, I am gullible and naive. I believe most things people tell me apparently this is due to my innate good nature. However this has lead to me being fleeced of a fair bit of dosh. If you suspect that some swindler is after your hard earned sweat blood and tears money. Report it immediately, obviously.
However these guys are getting smarter, learnt to use the law as a way of entrapping you (usually using contract law to obligate you to pay) it's ridiculous. The law meant to protect you is being subverted to take money from you by clever thieves. Even when the law exists having your case heard before the court is near impossible, especially if it's a small amount. One persons pocket money is another's food for a few days. I digress...
There are statutory provisions that define unfair, if your contract or deal fall within this contact your local authority as soon as. These types have a habit of disappearing.
