I stroll down the corridor of the old manor house, whistiling a tune. I wasn't meant to be here i was trespassing but so what?
I had explored all the rooms but they were empty and not very interesting. I see another door. Red and it looked new. I think 'what the hell' and open it, with a loud creak it opened and a cloud of dust billowed out. Like the other rooms it was practicly empty, only containing some old chairs which looked ready to break if you sat on them. Ar the end of the room a mirror was hanging on the wall. It was huge and had a ornate gold frame. It looked very interesting so I went to have a look. I stared into the mirror and let out a terrible scream. Instead of seeing my long loose curls, almond shaped emerald green eyes and pale skin. I saw a young woman with honey coloured hair, flushed cheeks and full pale pink lips. I fell backwards and lay on the dusty floor for a minuite. I decided that I should have another look. I stood back up slowly and looked into the grand mirror again. The same stunning woman stood there. I looked behind and saw only the old, empty and faded room. I turned back to the mirror and once again looked into it. Like the last two times the woman was there but now I saw something else a grand room with a crystal chandler, gold throws on the cream sofas. A large fire waving merrily from the carved stone grate. I looked in wonder as the faded grey walls turned cream and the bare wooden floor boards were covered in soft cream carpets. In a corner a massive four poster bed appeared with loads of gold cushions and a golden duvet. But then I saw something that would change my life for ever. The corner of a golden throw had fallen into the fire. The fire spread quickly up the throw and stared on the sofa. I yelled at the woman in the mirror to turn and run to get help but she only smiled sadly. The fire had engulfed the sofa and had spread to the carpet. I suddenly saw in the mirror someone pulling back the curtains of the four poster. She screamed and ran for the door but the fire had blocked her way. She screamed as her bed went up in flames. She was trapped in the middle of the room with fire all around her. The fire slowly edged closer and closer to the poor beautiful woman in her long nightie. I watched as she was slowly killed by the fire and smoke. Some servents rushed in but it was to late. When they had put out the fire they found the body of the woman now looking at me from the mirror. I saw her mouth move and she said "GO" I waved goodbye and fled. Once I was out on the street I collapsed. I am haunted to this very day and I have never been the same.
My attempt at horror hope it's alright and I hope you all like it!!!!
