The city sleeps as darkness falls
I dim the lights as silent crawls
I stroke your head and give you a kiss
Our time today has been pure bliss
Sleep tight Princess and have sweet dreams
Until you wake me up with your cries and screams!
I'll forget sleep and jump out of bed
In case you're hungry and want to be fed
