Who would have thought our feelings would fade?
We both tried but our lives were touched by the hand of fate.
I guess that's how life goes,
love dies out and distance grows.
There was a time when my pain would dissolve with your affection.
There was a time when we shared a reflection.
Our star dimmed and candles burned out,
yet we carry on shinning so bright.
