Parents: Never lie, always be honest , honesty is the best policy.
Several occasions later when you notice being nice ,just gets you the same pair of socks off your great aunt for every celebration.
Aunt: Here's some more of those socks you love.
You: Thank you for the thought, but I don't really like them.
Parents: Your not supposed to be ignorant, you should have just said you liked them.
You: But you taught me not to lie..;)
