I sat upon the velvet stool, The fabric soft and smooth, Remembering the golden rule, To brush off all the dust.

I lifted off the wooden lid, To reveal lots of keys, Across them my fingers slid, Faster than the speed of light.

I started to play a relaxing tune, It put my brain to sleep, I played and played, morning 'till noon, Trying lots of different keys.

My fingers continued dancing, They moved light and swift, At the clock I kept glancing, Checking how long I'd played for.

Soon I knew it was time for me to stop, I sighed and placed the lid back on, I decided to visit the music shop, To see what else I could find...
