The next day was boring, it was just the three of us, moping around the flat. Bored. That's when Kay said:
"I'll tell you what, it's just the three of us, let's head into town and watch a movie!"
It was a great idea actually, a new film had just been released about a week ago. On the way there in the truck, Jonny wanted to put on some music, the battle begun. Kay wanted to listen to Blink 182, I wanted to listen to Nirvana and Jonny wanted to listen to some Reggae. Bob Marley, preferably. So, seeing as none of us could decide, we sang along to Variety FM. The first song was 'What I Got' by Sublime, then it was 'Rockstar' by Nickleback and when we arrived, it was in the middle of 'Wannabe' by the Spice Girls. We all had to power through that one! Jonny parked on the curb, and we all got out of the rusty green van. Looking around, the place was deserted.
"There's nobody here.", Jonny said, "Not even at the Movie Theatre."
Suddenly we heard sirens, police sirens.
"Get off the road guys.", I said to Jonny and Kay, "We don't want to get in the way of the cops."
So we all got on to the sidewalk, and began to stroll down the road, when I spotted my wallet lying on the road. So I walked up to it, picked it up, and began to make my way back onto the sidewalk. At that very moment a scruffy looking car whizzed round the corner, followed by the cops.
"RED!" Kay screamed.
Jonny, who happened to be carrying his skateboard, dropped in, shoved me out the way and went spiralling across the street as the car hit him, it was like he was he was almost flying.
