The cake stood on the table on its hand carved plate and towered almost to the ceiling. I inhaled and sweet vanilla, chocolate, raspberry sauce and all sorts of wonderful smells reached my nose.
Tiny ornate flowers in multicolours where arranged on the bottom layer, rainbow sprinkles carefully placed between them.
The cake was covered in a thick chocolate icing and big swirls of icing dance on the top of the bottom cake.
Green icing slithered round the pillars and chocolate swirls.
I cut a slice i saw soft sponge with a raspberry sauce layer in the middle and chocolate drops either side.
The second layer of the cake a little smaller covered in a sugary white icing with lemon zest and sugar mice on the top. Around the edge was cake glitter and sugar butterflies and mice.
I cut another slice a strong lemon smell flew up my nose. In the middle of the cake was a circle of custard like in donuts.
On the third layer of this tower cake, i saw a cat made from icing shapes on a bed of creamy orange icing, little dots of white around the edge alternate with stripy candy canes.
On the inside of the cake was chocolate again with pears at the bottom.
On the fourth layer was a plain cake with a little summers day scene and the beach made out of sugar figures.
I cut a slice and inside was plain victoria sponge with a jammy centre.
On the fifth and final layer was an apple and blackberry crumble! I cut a slice and ate it happily, best birthday ever.
