Cannot leave. Cannot stay.
Here. A grief no word can express a moan a groan in grotesque excess Concealed is my face. Veiled, my disgrace Shielded from light. A lonely, dark place. Hard to release. Silent, but no peace. Alone, my cry held tight My Cor: a branded blackened blight Through clenched teeth, bitterness squeezed Through white-knuckled fury Held back dis-ease Do not let flow! Madness will fly, releasing a life. A soul says goodbye. But No! Not a Tear! Not for them! Not my dears! I cannot bear them to grieve. Yet I've carried this burden for years. Oh! What can I do? Cannot leave. Cannot stay. I'm living a life that dies everyday.
