She hides her face
In shame and fear
Of what they think
Of her
Her face heats up
Eyes averted down
Thoughts swirling around
What if they think I'm weird
What will I do then
Her fingers twirling a lock of hair
But they don't seem to care
They can't see her discomfort
And still they go on
With the name calling
The backstabbing
The laughing behind her back
Yet still they don't notice
The little girl in the back
Watching with mournful eyes
Wanting to go away
Away to far far land
Drifting away from all this
