A few days later, Mia and James had created a trustful bond between them. Mia was still uncertain of James but all was well.
However, the pair were struggling to find food. James often had to go outside the shack to try to find some edible meat.
One gloriously hot summers day James went out to look for food. Sadly he came back empty handed. Mia was complaining more than usual so things were getting tougher. James, tired and grumpy, sat down and sighed sympathetically.
" What's wrong?" Mia asked puzzled.
" I can't find any food!" James wailed.
" Doesn't matter, as long as your with me then we are fine!"
Then James threw himself at Mia and kissed her fiercely. James then blurted out, " Thats it, I can't keep this secret from anyone any more!!"
" What do you mean?"
" Mia, I'm terribly sorry."
Mia's heart was beating heavily by now. Thoughts were filling in her head like the Titanic filling with water.
" I was the one who killed your mother!" James admitted shamefully.
Silence occurred in the shack as if someone had threatened them to be extremely silent. Mia's sapphire eyes filled with tears...
