Chapter 1
The ghostly moon pirouetted across the black, sparkly blanket of spooky darkness. A pale, white figure with tumbling blonde hair walked past the seaweed. She ignored the cut on her heel and waded into the water. She held out her hands to the sky, muttered some strange words as if it were a curse. The wind blew heavily, violently lifting up the girl's night-dress. The waves tumbled like a whip lashing the sand punishingly. Suddenly the crystal-white foam transformed into majestic pegasi. They whinnied ; tossed their silky manes and disappeared again. Then the girl got into a raging fit. Tossing the sky into a forbidding storm. The lightening flashed and the thunder crashed like cymbals. High up from the ground, a pegasus and his companion were flying right inside the storm. The boy's name was Jake. " Come on let's land!" Jake shouted desperately trying to hold on tight. When they landed , the pair saw a scrunched up girl on the floor - asleep. "Jade?" he said while squinting. He ran across the powdery sand and tried to wake her up. " Where am I?" she asked, " Jake? Is that you?" " Yes it's me, what are you doing here?" Jade stood up and ran towards the steps to her aunts house. She opened the door very quietly and sat down. " What was I doing Jake?" she questioned.
