Chapter 1
Mia had been stuck indoors for ages . Her mother had gone to the shops.She went to the shops over an hour ago.Mia was deciding whether to phone her to find out where she was or to leave it and wait till she gets home to ask her.But then she heard a knock at the door.She tugged her hair into pony tail and opened the door.There stood a middle aged women with grey hair.She spoke in a deep,solemn voice."Hello is this Mia Thomas?"
"Yes.And what can I do for you?"Mia asked nervously.
"Well I understand that your mother went to a hiking party."
"I thought that she went to the shops."
Mia but her lip as she does when shes always worried.
"Well she went into this abandoned hotel and went galavanting off and when the rest of the group finally found her..."
"Yes???"
"Let's just say that she had blood all over her."
Mia was shocked.How could her mum go off somewhere without telling her and then get murdered?
Chapter2
The women who had been telling her the news had offered her a lift to the crime scene which was near a forest.Mia lept out of the car and ran to the yellow tape that was wound around the creepy hotel.The police were there and so were the FBI.Quickly,when no one was looking Mia ducked under the tape and ran through what was left of the door.The inside looked very spooky with dust and cobwebs.Suddenly Mia heard a strange whispering voice.She turned around.She felt an icy hand touch her back.Mia screamed.A hand grabbed her by the arm and dragged her into the shadows.....
