Twist that heart and bite away, bitter to the cud the loveless pain;

Seek him, feel the shape and texture of his skin, slanderous sin and the lights are dim,

Bite the night and bid it gone, love and life and romance have ceased for all that bears now is a nightly figure, a darkness of the mind and soul,

And love, pray, what is to come?

The comfort in which human beings seek is lust, a bitterness which leaves no heart break,

Feel the heat of the blood and coldness of the gun, as the trigger is pulled.
