Harley stared at herself in the mirror, her eyes scanning the flawless features of her face. Long, blonde hair that shimmered in the sunlight. Plump, pink lips. Long, jet-black eyelashes that framed her sea-blue eyes. A smallish nose that was perfect in its place.
She stood, putting her hair into a bun and pulling on some black jeans and her favourite t-shirt.
"Harley!" Her mother called.
"Yes, mum?"
A silence.
The sound something smashing.
Harley froze.
