Non-poem

If I lose my hearing, I will stop my music.
If I lose my sight, I will quit my art.
If I lose my voice, then no longer shall I tell my stories.
If I lose my taste, then I will halt my cooking.

If I lose my feet, then I won't walk or run.
If I lose my hands, then I won't try to build.
If I lose my legs, then I will no longer stand beside you.
If I lose my arms, then I won't crawl to see you.

If I lose my mind, then my thoughts of you will follow suite.
If I lose my soul, then as will my faith.
If I lose my heart, there goes my love.
If I lose you, I will lose my only friend.

And if I lose all these things I'll be a mental, heartless, soulless, blind, deaf, dumb, tasteless man with no limbs or friends.
