Mummy said she loved me, And she hugged me all the time, She'd tuck me into bed at night, With a song or book or rhyme.
But then one day she left me, All alone with drunken dad, And when I said that mum had gone, And dad got really mad.
And now I'm in the house alone, With nobody to hug, And so I'll curl up on their bed, Lie on their old bed rug.
