This carpet's worn, This carpet's torn, This carpet's full of heart.
It's watched us grow, As children show, A life it's been a part.
Rugged carpet, Lovely carpet, Full of life and soul.
Of our house, Despite the louse, This carpet has a role.
As children played, The carpet stayed, And watched us grow and thrive.
And for a carpet, Not so sharp, it- Has felt so very alive.
