I lie here on the battlefield, An arrow in my side, Regretting all the things I've said, Regretting how I've lied.
It's funny how the final things, I ever said to you... Were all so spiteful and untrue, I really wish you knew.
You said no matter what I said, You'd always come for me, That even were I dying, You and I were meant to be.
But now I lie here, leaking blood, The stinging turning numb, I know seeing you's impossible, Yet I still BELIEVE you'll come.
I'm in this war to save you, Yet I need to be saved, I can see the silver lining-ed path, To which Heaven is paved.
And even as Death greets me, And pulls the arrow out, I cannot help BELIEVE you'll come, As I writhe and shout.
