It looks so lovely from afar, A spotless sheet of white. Twinkling in pale sun's shine, It looks so pretty, light.

Reality is different, though. It's cold. It's wet. It's deep. Seeping into every bone, Enough to make me weep!

I live most north of England's cities, So I know what I say, I would take the steamy sun, Over snow? Oh, any day.

I absolutely hate the stuff! I'm a summer-girl to bone, So when the snow comes calling in, Just leave poor me alone!
