Today has been a long day,
Felt like it dragged on,
You ever get that feeling?
You wish the time was gone?
Infuriating, slow burn,
As if it's in rewind,
Mocking, taunting laughter,
As if it knows you mind.
But oh well, it's nearly over,
For me at least - I'm tired,
Hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow,
Feeling restored and fully fired.
