She's only eight short months old, I've had her just that long, And that she's already suffering, It seems unfair and wrong.
Yes, she's not in pain, or hurt, But it is so frustrating: She has a purple to her eye, That will never be abating.
My little baby bunny, Miss Midnight, as she's called, Is blind throughout her left eye, The milky virus's mauled.
At least M is a fighter, A braver bunny there's not, And she will keep on hopping round, With all the gusto that she's got.
