Today has been QUITE the day,
Passed all my exams with a 'hip hooray!'
In two of them? The highest marks,
But in the others, I swam with sharks.
Told you 'sorry', felt distraught,
A disappointment to what you taught.
We looked it up and what'dya know?!
One more mark, and up I'd go!
So January resits, yes?
And God be willing, oh, God bless...
I've done so well, I know you're proud,
I've stood out for once, out of the crowd.
I tried my best, paid of it has!
And now for my glass of Shiraz!
