Will Scarlet was a tricky fellow, Often seen as quiet and mellow.

Inside however, he was raging, Trying to break through Robin's caging.

Sick of being second place, Overshadowed in every case.

Robin's arrogance got to him, So Scarlet decided on a whim:

He'd strike off and try his hand, At leading his own merry band.

At first it didn't quite work out, And dear Will felt like such a lout-

As Robin laughed and cruelly jeered, And roused his men, who also cheered.

But Will kept on resilient, Determined to be brilliant.

Yet Robin always got the best, As if he aced his every test.

He even got the girls Will liked, Then laughed as Scarlet's temper spiked.

When no one joined Will Scarlet's band, Robin spread it across the land.

'That Will's a failure' - loud and clear, Passing it on for all to hear.

But Will found solace on his own, He didn't really mind being alone.

Robin's band was overrated, A hunger Will found he'd swiftly sated.

So hear ye! Hear ye! When you hear, Of Robin's triumphs do not cheer:

Remember how he shunned poor Will, How Scarlet's past is quiet still.

Remember Will as he's been told, Not as Robin's "friend" of old.
