An ocean plays across the sand, A trick, a test, a taunt. But when the tide goes out for dark, Who then the sand will taunt?

The sea, of course, the sea will cry, For all his power yearns, It matters not - for tides do turn, And then the table turns.

It is a never ending fight, A battle without a pause, What created this total hate, We'll never know the cause.

The truth is this: it's simple though, The sand doth hate the sea, Perhaps one day, the game will stop, It's the moon that holds the key.
