A drop could save a nation,
A penny could save a child,
A pair of socks could make a day,
A pound could save the wild.
A jar could ensure living,
A song for charity,
Purchasing the fair trade,
For that extra little fee.
A raincheck on that purse you like,
Instead the money goes,
Sending off your extra organs,
To cure another's woes.
Signing off your heart,
Ignoring animal-tested goods,
Slipping little donations,
To those much-admired woods.
Paper in the paper bin,
And glass with other glass,
Saving on the water,
Awaiting another drought's pass.
Sending off your extra clothes,
Instead of binning them,
Gratitude of millions,
Finally life can stem.
Turning life that's every day,
Into life-saving worth,
Doing your own little bit-
Just to save the earth.
