I bet you have read the title and thought, 'dear lord, here she goes again'. Indeed, here I do go again. Any other family, with three children, would be able to handle Father's Day with ease. And triumph. NOT MY FAMILY. OH NO. My two siblings are away from home on this particular day, leaving me to handle everything. Which, may I just say, is one of the worst things that could happen. My brother handed me the gift five minutes before he left the house this morning, unwrapped, still tagged... And cardless. I therefore spent the next five minutes running about the house like a headless chicken. Finally, gathering my wits, I wrapped the present. Still... No card. I then ran about the house hysterically for a further five to ten minutes. At the peaking point of panic, I stopped by the paper draw where the spare cards are kept- Wacky idea, I know. Cards... In a card draw?! In there I found some notecards, so I wrote a card and enveloped it. Finally, I was done. With no help from my siblings. I feel like a superhero.
... That's all.
