Now, before you get judgemental, I'd like to have a word, My name is Mr. Dracula, And I don't know what you've heard...
You see, Stoker was a friend of mine, But then we disagreed, And in this spell of discontent, Bram pursued a thoughtless lead.
He shed a light on me and mine, That isn't quite the truth, It made all vampires - such as me - Seem coarse and rather uncouth.
Stoker felt for Mina, too, The cause of our fall-out, It just so happened, Stoker's way- Of letting emotions shout:
Involved his trusted quill and ink, And parchment to write upon, It was on his pages of 'Dracula', That his anger truly shone.
I never plotted domination, Wanted not the earth, And Lucy begged to become a vampire, It's true! For what it's worth...
Harker didn't like me much, He took Bram's side on this, All because I took Mina aside, And gave her the vampire's kiss.
She was dying you see, And took my gift, for she understood, That without my help and with her death, There would be no good.
I'm really quite a charming chap, If only people saw, I'm not the evil Dracula, I'm good! I'm something more!
