What makes me, me?
1: MORNINGS
I wake up every morning, Turn on my bedside light, Just to keep my eyelids up, It takes an immense fight.
2: HAIR HABITS
Start the day in a pigtail, By noon it's round my face, I like it down to hide away, A shield: just in case.
3: BOOKISHNESS
I read at least three books a day, A reading machine, I know. I spend too much on paperbacks, My library comes to show...
4: ANIMATION
Movies, movies - ever day, From Wall-E to Mulan, From Flushed Away to Nemo, From The Lion King to Tarzan.
5: CHEWING.
At first, I'd always chew my nails, Ruined and bitten raw... I've since moved onto finger-skin, Chewed until they're sore.
6: TOILET
I read on the toilet, Don't judge me, it's quite nice, To sit and read and just not care, It'll be over in a trice.
7: IPOD
Stick my tunes on shuffle, Yet skip them all in turn, Until I find that perfect song, The beat for which I yearn.
8: DAYDREAMING
Off, alone, in my happy world, Where everything is good, There's nothing wrong at all in here, Everything's as it should.
9: INSECURE
Hidden in my hazel eyes, A girl, no one shall see, Makes me always wonder, Who actually does know me?
