Please, take these wings, They're broken and lost, I rose and I fell, Now I suffer the cost.
Take them and use them, Burn them or keep, Do not fly so close, though, That price is too steep.
Remember dear Icarus, Flew close to the sun, Battled with heat and- The heat, oh, it won.
Take them and heed me, What's damaged is done, A fate of no flying, Like an athlete can't run.
They'll take you and tear you, They'll battle you down, But think of this warning, When those wings make you drown.
