A little drip of pressure, Can quickly send me frowning, Amounting to a hurricane, And suddenly I'm drowning.

Deadlines set impossibly, Typhoons of work to meet, Failures and criticisms, Heavy as it's sleet.

That fractured piece of pressure now, A monster in its own, A siren wailing in my head, I can't escape this drone...

When all I want's a little space, To curl up on my bed. To pull my covers oh-so-tight, And forget it all instead.
