In a world so full of vampires, We humans have no say. Highly sought out for our blood, We all must hide away.
They came, they fought, they conquered all, And now we humans starve, In a world where only blood is needed, What place can humans carve?
We humans need our day-lit hours, The vampires, they need none; A society where human work, Is just a work to shun.
Hunted in the darkened world, Stalked where we once stalked, We are now just fugitives, Can't walk where we once walked.
Our lives are now diminished, We are just a source of prey, We dream of sweet extinction, Where this pain will drift away.
And how are we still humans? When all we do is cower? Sitting, standing, lying: waiting- Dying by the hour.
