It was daytime in the city,

The little vampires were asleep,

Hanging from their roosts,

Blood/gore? Not a peep!

A few of them sucked dummies,

More of them held bears,

It's hard to believe at all,

That they're the thing of nightmares.

All tucked up and cutely,

Rosy from last drink,

Their notorious demeanour,

Did shrink and shrink and shrink.

Vulnerable little Draculas,

All hanging from the roof,

A sight to make a person think

The movies are a spoof.

Fangs protruding slightly,

Whiter than the bone,

Creamy flesh you'd think was soft

But really hard as stone.

Homely, huddled in,

Snuggling in their sleep,

Awaiting for the nighttime,

When they'll stalk and creep.
