Why bother,
I know I won't win,
You'll never stay
Through thick and thin.
You'll leave me
Leave me high and dry,
And you will laugh,
Whilst I will cry.
Why bother,
I've no happy end,
No one to fight
No fight to defend.
I'm stuck right here
No faith at all,
In this great world,
I feel so small.
So I ask again,
Why bother/try?
When for every truth,
There's another lie.
