What makes us more than fundamental bone and skin? Our memories, our emotions, and our love. Body and soul united yet so separate, our bodies may fade with age, but our memories remain alive, close to the pulsing muscle in the cage. A bit dusty perhaps, yet near enough solidified periods of time once lived which can never be lost. Our bodies are merely a vehicle for life, to enable our souls to touch others, to love and to cherish. Mere material we grow to love, prizing one in millions above all. Another body we'd sacrifice our own candle for.

Actually, I think what makes us even more unique than our memories are our choices, our ability to mold our futures.
