Keeping up appearances is a funny game we play in life. Setting one facade up for the public view, yet only letting a special one see your soul for what you truly are. Funny how people make strong assumptions about you without even taking the time to prove themselves wrong. Fair enough, they can think what they want, as it makes no difference. I am the person I want to be, shown to you and only you in my full glory. If only they knew what happens behind closed doors, they'd surely have to abandon their false pretences. It gives a strange empowering feeling to have secrets from the public eye, school friends, college colleagues. If only they knew... You can never underestimate their so called 'quiet ones'
