Part 11
Alex carried me down to the ground floor and the man behind the desk called the ambulance and the police. I was still shaken up about what had happened so Alex went to find Alice. This turned out to be a bad idea because when they returned Alex sported a bright red cheek as Alice had obviously slapped him. When she saw me Alice ran towards me and gave me a huge hug. She sat down next to me and I explained to her what had happened. When I had finished she looked flabagasted and seemed not to be able to speak. By this time Alex had sat next to me. The butterflies in my stomach had returned and I still felt a little guilty. Just then we heard the screech of tiers on the road and two burly policemen rushed through the doors. They where wearing blue police uniforms and the hard hats that i thought made them look quite silly. When they saw us they asked us what had happened. Alex answered saying he he had locked him in the changing rooms by lodging a chair against the door but it wouldn't hold for long if he woke up. At this the two men ran off, got halfway up the stairs then had to turn back remembering that they didn't know where the changing rooms were. Once they had ran out if sight Alex leaned in and whispered in my ear "which do you think is the clever one out of those two? They remind me of the two idiots from Alice in wonderland" I giggled and Alice looked around accusingly. Alex got up and went outside to see if the ambulance was coming yet as my ankle had swollen to a considerable size and was still bleeding. Alice was still looking at me "you like him don't you?" she asked me.
